The Client
Under a project commissioned by the Japanese Cabinet Office – Cool Japan Project, four influencers from US and Hong Kong, accompanied by members from three media companies visited Japan for five days in the winter of 2017. The key objective was to gain insights on the sake industry in Japan and to profile the potential of exporting Japanese sake to overseas markets.
The Project
At the same time as the delegates came to Japan to attend a symposium organized by the Cool Japan project team, Cyest brought together a group of industry experts to design and carry a complete programme for the delegation to visit six time-honoured sake breweries in the Nagano and Ibaraki regions. The Cyest team also helped arrange visits to museums and sake tasting sessions with Japanese sake sommeliers for the delegates to get a first hand experience of the centuries-old traditions of Japan.
